Historical records have been screened for readable salary amounts, explicit currencies and specific salary years. This is data cleaning, not independent verification of employment or pay.
Ambiguous entries are separated into the cleaned workbook’s review tab. New submissions are excluded by default. A moderator confirms or corrects the details before approving them for salary search.
Moderators review submissions in a protected dashboard. New submissions trigger email alerts once the moderator connects the email service.
These summaries come from the original Blackbox compensation sheet. The historical source is checked when the page is used, with a short cache. New website submissions go directly to our moderation queue. If it cannot be reached, the page clearly labels its last cleaned snapshot.
Submission totals count entries across all eight historical salary tabs and this website, including entries awaiting review. Salaries, companies and disciplines in search count only records cleared for salary summaries. Submission dates and salary years are separate. Contributions can describe pay from an earlier year.
Salary years are historical. Figures are monthly take-home pay as requested by the original collection forms. They are self-reported, not independently verified, and are not a current-market salary recommendation.
The median is the middle report; the range covers the middle 50%. Currencies and years are kept separate. Figures appear only when at least five usable records match.
Company aliases are standardised. Unclear currencies, years and amounts are held for review. Gender, comments and raw submissions are not sent to the browser.
Search matches roles, seniority, company names, years and currencies. It does not answer location, benefit, pay-gap or current-market questions.
